Blake Auden (he/him)
Brighton-based Blake's relationship with anxiety and mental health is well documented, both in interviews and throughout his poetry. His work provides a searingly honest and vivid description of living with these struggles, and he describes poetry as a 'theraputic tool' in dealing with his mental health. His current collection focuses on one fear in particular; that of being forgotten.
As a child, Blake always dreamed of being a writer, and it was in January 2019 that he first started sharing his poetry through Instagram. His willingness to be vulnerable and open in his work has seen him gain a massive following of close to 190,000 on Instagram. Having already self-published his first three poetry books, Blake now has a fourth book on the way later this year.
