"I was born and raised in Florida, spending the majority of my
childhood in Tampa. I’ve been writing poetry for as long as I can
remember, which helped me endure a decades long struggle with
mental health and addiction, especially during the 7 years I served in
the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. I’m now living in Georgia,
acting, writing, and painting.

My love of science, mythology, and writing are brought
together as an author and actor to tell innovative and captivating
stories that have the power to heal and educate audiences. My
publication debut was the Apocalypse Virus Series and Inner
Workings Poetry.

I recently published my first children’s book and
first traditionally published book, Facts and Opinions. My first
fantasy novel, Innocence Lost, is nearing completion while my second
children’s book, Gus the Grumpy Gator, is in production.

"My first visit to Savannah was in 2005 for the Spring Historic District Tour of Homes. That trip sparked a love affair with Savannah's architecture and Oglethorpe's 1733 Plan that continues to this day. After moving to Savannah permanently in 2007, my wife Kathleen and I have enjoyed life in the National Landmark Historic District in our little "900 Square Feet of Bliss," a cozy restored historic cottage. I have been a registered architect since 1989 and graduated from The Ohio State University School of Architecture in 1982. As the City of Savannah Architectural Coordinator from 2008 to 2012, I managed the design and construction of the city's capital improvement projects, including the adaptive reuse of the Forsyth Fort, Historic Grayson Stadium, and work on the 1906 City Hall.

I founded Edward A. Pyrch Architect Inc. in 1989 in Ohio, and the firm continues to operate in the Savannah area today, focusing on custom residential work. In between architectural commissions, I also work as a professional street artist in Forsyth."
