"I write emotionally-focused poetry which centres on self-help, self-development, and personal growth. I started off by writing down my thoughts and feelings in my phone and often made metaphorical messages out of these feelings. I think we can learn a lot about ourselves from the world around us when we allow ourselves to tune into what it is showing us.
I’ve performed at spoken word competitions and events; I love the excitement and the buzz that I get before, during and after performing. I’ve also spoken in a TEDx talk. I performed a spoken word piece focused on the idea of outgrowing things and our environments, and how normal that is for us to do".
